Some months are just sucks of time, and this has been one of those months. I must apologize to everyone who reads my blog, since I have only posted a few times, and not a lot of reviews of anything. Now, as I write this I have to say that next month may not be much easier, only because I will be going to a memorial for a loved one who passed away in February. This memorial may, or may not, be tense due to some interesting situations brought on by some of the participants in the past few months.

So, as I write this I am hoping to update this with more fun and interesting things. Maybe I will post pictures of Maine, which is where the memorial will be. I also have to say, I love Maine. I can see why Stephen King lived, and still lives there, at times. As I think about where I want to live for the rest of my life, the funny thing is I don't see one place. I love San Diego, California, and it was home for most of my life. As things changed and I moved to Alabama I found that it was a neat place with so many interesting places that said, "Life here is nice, easy, and fun." I fell in love with the people I met, many whom continue to be awesome and in my life, and I fell in love with the cost. While I couldn't find any great Mexican food in Alabama (something I missed from San Diego), I learned to enjoy catfish in many ways, I tried hush puppies (not a fan), and found a love for fried pickles (why I hadn't had then before is beyond me). Now, living in Virginia, I know this is not where I want to stay. While there are several things about the DMV that I enjoy, first is being so close to DC and all of the awesome museums and culture there, the traffic is horrendous. I would much rather deal with LA traffic, or the traffic between Huntsville, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia, which is always awful.

However, I love Maine. I am not sure however, that I love the idea of living in seventeen feet of snow. The things I love are the peaceful lifestyle. Everything seems so slow and easygoing. I also love all of the fresh fish! I mean, for someone who doesn't eat a lot of meat (I was once a vegetarian for about seven years or so), a place with a tin of fresh, easy to get fish, is heaven.

I also love Utah, Montana, Colorado, parts of Rhode Island, and did I say Utah!
