I too enjoyed the movie, but I did have a few issues with it. For example, the beginning going back and forth between what was happening and what had happened, while interesting, made the movie seem longer. Plus, it took forever to get to the point. Secondly, it didn't seem to take long for Wade to be okay with going to this unknown society and having this creepy non-doctor work on him and inject him with something he didn't even ask questions about. Why did he just go do it? I get it, his character isn't really that deep, but he is, really.
I also wondered a little about the girlfriend, Vanessa. Why had she not moved on if it had been years? And why was she still a stripper/prostitute/whatever? She could have done so much with her life, like find out where Wade went that night, or follow up with the guy at the bar who knew Wade...anything, but he left and she seemed to give up on their relationship so easily.
What was up with Angel Dust? The big guy, Colossus, didn't kill her, as he was seen carrying her body off stage, but where did he put her? Is she still alive? Did he just find a place to leave her? I mean, open ended questions right there right!?!?
Okay, now onto other things. This movie is not for kids. I don't know how many times people need to be told that. There were several teens (maybe) in the theater, and when the movie showed boobs or ass they gasped, and at least one woman covered the eyes of the kid sitting next to her. So please, don't take your kids to this movie, and if your kid asks you to buy this for them, say a strong no and stick with it.
Otherwise, another fun and fine movie, with an awesome soundtrack (especially music by WHAM).
Lastly, go see KEANU!
